Andy.ai, a family of consumer AI agents

Andy is HowMuch Group's consumer-facing AI platform. The first agent, launched in 2025, helps U.S. consumers compare and book home-services providers in plain language, without surrendering their phone number.

Two more agents are in build: Andy Insurance, a fully licensed AI broker that quotes, places, and services policies in conversation. Initial lines: Auto and Home Insurance.

Andy Travel, an AI-native online travel agent that plans, prices, and books end-to-end trips and arms its customers with a 24 hour AI concierge that can call hotels, airlines and car hire companies for them. If there is a problem with their trip Andy will fix it.

Andy is the consumer brand. The technology that powers it, and that places HMG's paid-traffic spend, is Adbrain.

Adbrain: AI ad-spend optimization, in production

Adbrain is HowMuch Group's AI ad-spend optimization platform. It plans, bids, and optimizes paid-traffic campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other major platforms, continuously, at machine speed, with creative, audience, and bid decisions made by AI rather than by analysts.

Adbrain is the engine behind HowMuch Group's #1 and #2 positions across U.S. solar, roofing, siding, bathroom remodeling, and windows replacement. It is now being deployed across every home services vertical HMG operates, and is the same system that will run paid acquisition for Andy Insurance and Andy Travel as those businesses launch.

Home Services

HowMuch Group operates the largest performance-marketing business in U.S. home services, running Adbrain across Google, Meta, and Microsoft to acquire high-intent consumers in the categories below. We sell leads to contractors today, and are progressively layering Andy.ai on top so the consumer relationship moves from “lead handed off” to “booked through Andy.”

  • Solar Established vertical since 2014 - HowMuch has been one of the largest purchasers of paid search traffic in the U.S. and a long-standing, highly recognized supplier of leads to the solar industry.
  • Roofing Launched 2021 - a semi-mature, very large market with substantial upside. We currently sell leads to ~250–300 roofers/month while there are 100,000+ roofing companies nationwide, so room to expand coverage and increase per-lead monetization is significant.
  • Siding A newer vertical launched in 2024 - HowMuch is already the largest purchaser of siding replacement Google Ads traffic in the U.S. and the vertical remains rich with growth potential.
  • Bathroom Remodeling Launched 2025 - now a major purchaser of Google Ads traffic. This vertical is gross-profit positive at small volumes and expected to scale significantly over the next three years.
  • Window Replacement Launched 2024 (growth gaining in 2025) - now profitable at the gross-profit level with additional room to grow market share and volume.
  • New Verticals Kitchen remodeling, HVAC replacement, basement waterproofing, and mold remediation were launched in 2025; currently early stage and not yet profitable (traffic cost > lead revenue), but expected to become profit contributors by end of 2026 as volumes and optimization improve.

Insurance Broking

HowMuch Group is becoming a fully licensed U.S. insurance broker, launching Q1 2026. Unlike a comparison-and-lead model, we hold carrier appointments, place policies, earn commissions, and service the customer relationship over time, augmented end-to-end by Andy Insurance.

uk.howmuch.net is HowMuch Group's UK comparison platform for small and mid-sized businesses. We help owners compare invoice financing and business banking options from established UK lenders and banks, matching cash-flow needs to products that fit, without forcing them through opaque broker funnels.

Invoice financing. Unlock working capital tied up in unpaid invoices. HowMuch UK surfaces factoring and invoice-discounting providers so businesses can compare fees, advance rates, and contract terms in one place.

Business banking. From startup current accounts to established-trader switching, we connect UK companies with business banking products that match turnover, sector, and growth stage, alongside the lending and finance tools many operators need alongside day-to-day banking.

Online Travel: Andy Travel

Andy Travel is HowMuch Group's entry into the global online travel market, launching as andy.ai/travel. Where today's OTAs are filter-and-sort interfaces over inventory, Andy Travel is conversation-first: describe the trip, get a real itinerary, book it end-to-end. We see OTA as the natural extension of HowMuch Group's AI-agent and high-intent-traffic capabilities.

Why we believe this is the right move

  • Incumbents (Booking Holdings and Expedia Group) spend $14–16B per year combined on marketing, the bulk of it on Google and Meta, the same paid-traffic auctions HowMuch Group already wins in U.S. home services through Adbrain.
  • Their best customers (mid-60s percent of bookings) come direct via app, because the interface is the moat; repeat users open Booking or Expedia instead of searching.
  • An AI agent that does planning and booking in conversation is a direct attack on that interface moat: it replaces “open app → search → filter → sort → book” with “tell Andy → done.”

Andy Travel will be built on the same Adbrain demand engine and Andy.ai agent platform already running in production at HowMuch Group.

Financial Services (exploratory)

HowMuch Group is exploring entry into U.S. consumer financial services (mortgages, refinancing, personal loans, credit cards, and HELOCs) through HowMuch Finance, with licensing pending and a launch window opening in 2026. We treat this as a watch-and-evaluate priority rather than a committed near-term product.
